Dear Brides,

I want to write to you brides out there, who are checking out my page and looking at my portfolio, price lists, and testimonials and first hand introduce myself and tell you about my services. I find most of my clients through word of mouth, but like any professional, I am always stretching out and trying to expand! For those of you who didn't hear about me word of mouth, but found your way to my website, I would like to welcome you and provide some information about myself to make your decision of hiring a professional makeup artist a little bit easier for you!

Because I can only imagine how stressful and time consuming planning a wedding might be, I want to make this process a little easier for you. I, myself take the decision to hire somebody very serious, (even something as simple as which groomer I should take my dog to!) so I understand how important it is to understand, expect, and put your trust in a company to deliver over the top satisfaction.

I use only the best! Products such as MAC, Nars, Urban Decay, Too Faced, Smashbox, Coastal Scents, Derma Blend, Stila, Lorac, and much much more! I pride myself on using the best professional makeup products on the market that are known for their longevity, quality, pigmentation, and payoff. I have spent years testing products, in real life and on set, and have formulated the contents of my makeup kit based upon them. I have always have very satisfied clients who rave about the staying power of the makeup I used throughout the course of their special event.

Being a makeup artist to me is so much more then just applying makeup. By hiring me, I provide my clients with not only the best cosmetics on the market, but they also get a QUALITY makeup application. I have always had a strong interest in makeup artistry and the world of cosmetics, but prior to that, as a child even till now I have always possessed a great artistic talent which I express in many different mediums. I believe that makeup is an art form, I believe that a clean face is my blank canvas, I believe that what I do is more then just makeup, its an art. During my teen years, I had such an artistic drive that I didn't know how to express and a strong desire to improve my talent as an artist. I decided to take professional art classes at a local art gallery where I took up painting and drawing. (Lina De Gangie Studio And Gallery-Totowa, NJ) Taking that on helped me condition my eye for detail and allowed me to advance as an artist, little did I know the exercises I practicing and the talent I was discovering I had would soon be applied to the wonderful world of makeup artistry. Painting and drawing helped me advance in my makeup artist career by allowing me to see a persons face as a canvas and knowing exactly where to apply color and cosmetics to my clients face that will be the utmost flattering and fully accentuate their features in a complimenting manor. I feel that having an backround in art greatly distinuges me as an artist, and hopefully by looking at my profolio, or booking a trial consultation with me, you might feel the same!

I take what I do very seriously. I have chosen this as my career and I treat is as so. Prior to a wedding or special event, I will take the time to go over in full detail everything I need to know, or that you many need to know about my involvement as your makeup artist during you special day. This includes: Time, location, how many clients I will be providing services to, what supplies I will need to bring/purchase before hand, how you would like your makeup to look on that day, what references of that look you might have to email over to me, or show me during your trial, fax/email over my contact, etc. I figure everything out so that I am fully prepared on your special day, so that you are not surprised, and neither am I. I will take time before hand to schedule a trial, so that you can see how your makeup will look on your special day and I will make sure you are 100% completely satisfied with your makeup before I leave. I will show up on time the day of ( and by that I mean early, as long as you dont mind so that I can set up), ready and prepared so that you have nothing to extra tostress out about on your day, I will be dressed professionally and ready to make you look and feel beautiful as can be on your special day.

I'm so glad that you took the time to read this and check me out!  Thank you for taking the time to learn about me and the services I provide to my clients. If you have any questions or inquires, please do not hesitate to contact me or email me directly: - I will answer any questions you may have and will be sure to get back to you in a timely manor!

All the best,
Lauryn Marie

Hey guys! As per request I made this video. Its perfect for the on the go woman who doesnt have a lot of time to spend doing there makeup each day. Or doesnt have much time to wipe there makeup off and start over with a night look after a long busy day.

For this video, I choose to use my Too Faced Naked Eye palette. Why? Because it has every color inside it that you could possibly need for a day look and a night look. So simple, so compact, throw it in your handbag and you could do this look in your car mirror, its that convient and simple the way I set this up for you guys, so I really hope you like it.

The colors I used for the day look were:
In The Buff (brow bone)
Satin Sheets (eye lid)
Lap Dance (crease)
Unmentionables (outter corner of lid)

For the night look:
Stiletto (crease)

Its that simple!! For the person who runs around all day and doesnt have time for anything more then this, I recommend Urban Decay Primer Potent. It makes your shadow stay on literally all day and all night. Its a great product for those who dont have time for a million touch ups on the eye makeup through out the day.

Throw a little liner on, add a little wing for the night look at your done! Hope you enjoyed this video!
